My name is Christian Lachanea Howard, I am a 20 years old, what makes me so special is that I am a fighter. When I was two i fell out a two story window, and tried to get up and run. A preacher prayed over me and I was knocked unconscious for 7 days. The doctors said i will have migraines for the rest of my life. From then on I knew I was here for a reason. My mother is a single parent and also had me at a young age, she was in an abusive relationship and my step dad was gang affliated. I watched and tried to stop the domestic abuse, but learned that it takes great desire for change. At age 15, I went wild found a boyfriend who was very strong about education but was a product of his enviornment. Being that I was young and had no control over myself, I was not able to keep him from the streets. He was killed along with my bestfriend who was suppose to graduate and also come to college with me. I watched as the police carried him away, dealing with all the trauma, I went off to college on the other side of the continent. As I reflect and search for love, I was looking in all the wrong places. Trying to surpress the pain but later revealing it and falling to my feet. I say that my story is special because along the way I tried to help change others and give those from my neighborhood a chance to see something new. Through it all, I have learned that you can not change the past, you can only live for the future, but before you can live you must be able to look yourself in the mirror and forgive yourself an become the blameless. I can say that I am blessed and ready for the future.

Best Memories:
best high school memory graduation even though my two angel were not there in the flesh I can say that it was a closing to a bad chapter in my life.
