(interview me)

Founder & CEO, FHG Media Enterprises

Location: Phoenix, AZ United States
Joined: May 22nd, 2009
About   (request update)
My burden to improve the image of African-American's in the media and in the legal profession. in 2005, I founded the NBA Arizona Diversity Pipeline Program (Now called the Minority Counselor Pipeline Program under the FHG Media Enterprise umbrella) with the mission of training future African-American and Latin male lawyers to go into criminal law to serve as public defenders to provide better free legal services to those in need. After 5 years in existence, we have raised over $250,000 in scholarships and put three classes of minority law students through law school with almost half of the law school tuition paid for.

The Pipeline Program is the impetus for our recent founding of FHG Media Enterprises www.FHGMediaEnt.com, which is going to more to change the opportunities for African-American lawyers and communities nation-wide.
My Interview Question
Are you a lawyer
Current Whereabouts:
A over a year ago, my husband and I started our new company, FHG Media Enterprises (FHG) (For.His.Glory), to help African-American lawyers and other legal professionals of color to market and brand their legal services to the African-American communities nation-wide as well as to the nations corporate legal departments. Our mission is to raise the profile of African-American lawyers as leaders and role models, to provide greater access to legal information and education to African-American communities and to increase the number of minority students going to law school to the under-representation of African-American lawyers in the legal profession but more important to guide black males into the profession to become criminal public defenders to address the over representation of African-American and Latino males in the prison system. There is a direct correlation between the small number of excellent criminal defense attorneys in African-American communities and the high prison rate of African-American males. FHG will accomplish this goal along with the helping corporations to better utilize the legal services of African-American and minority business law attorneys. Visit us at www.FHGMediaEnt.com FHG is a full service new media technology company that specializes in the development of multicultural websites and custom development of software applications that address systemic business needs.
