My mom says I'm special because she was diagnosed with Cancer while carrying me at was not supposed to live. She named me Matthew (Gift from God) and Rasheed (Righteous) because that's the dream she had for me. I'm special because I like my mom am a survivor and my goal is to succeed and grow into man that cares for family and his community. I'm special because I'm a fighter and wont give up.

Life & Professional Aspirations:
I want to be the best at whatever I do, be an example to young men (specifically) and show them that hard work and commitment pays off. I want others to live by a positive example and know that though education is important, it is only part of what it takes to grow and have self worth/pride/satisfaction and happiness in life. I want to be a leader and make a difference.

Member of Band and enjoy playing at games, for community and concerts.

Known as "Mister" which is the nickname since childhood and stands for my initials M.R.R. - having other students recognize me when listening to the radio.
