A native of Nashville, TN. Mitch landed as a frosh on the beautiful waterside campus of Hampton University in 2002 as the recipient of a Presidential Scholarship Award. After a year, Mitch became deeply entrenched in student activities, starting first with Honors College (a supplemental curriculum that requires a student to complete another 18-24hrs of honors courses) and the student leadership program (the student activities organization in charge of planning and executing student activates).

For the next three consecutive years, Mitch was voted a class officer Mr. Sophomore, Mr. Junior, and Mr. Senior. Mr. Class was in charge of implementing class-wide volunteer activities as well ceremonious court activities for homecoming. Mitch was also a member of INROADS, landing the top summer internship at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and a spring 2006 initiate of the Beta Chi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Showing his academic prowess Mitch was able to finish his coursework in just 7 semesters (3 1/2 years).Mitch graduated May of 2006 with honors, securing a B.S. in Sport Management.

From there, Mitch returned home for 9 months to work for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. He found instant success, winning the Commitment To Excellence Award twice over the 9 month period (CTE is a monthly honor given to the top employee in the state based on sales statistics). He was promoted from Management Trainee to Management Assistant in only 9 months.

Mitch left the workforce to return to school in the fall of 2007, attending law school at The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law. After law school, Mitch entered business school at Vanderbilt University, Owen School of Management.

Upon graduating from Vanderbilt in 2012, and officially a JD/MBA, Mitch landed a consulting gig with Gallup Consulting in Chicago, IL. Involved with the Hampton Alumni Association, INROADS, NBMBAA, the Urbane Group, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Citizens Schools, Girls in the Game, and Mercy Homes---Mitch is a promising young star in the Chicago community.
