About   (request update)
At North Carolina A&T, I carry more than my education, I carry my family’s hopes. As a Business Administration major, I’ve grown through leadership, resilience, and service. Competing in Moguls in the Making taught me that empathy, trust, and collaboration turn pressure into power. I lead as a Resident Assistant, mentor peers, and study financial literacy to one day serve underrepresented communities. My goal is to invest in real estate and create accessible finance education programs. With three kids in college, my parents’ sacrifices fuel my drive. Scholarships don’t just relieve financial burden, they help me keep saying yes to opportunity and yes to impact. I’m committed to honoring this support through action and advocacy.
Current Whereabouts:
I love traveling, and I really want to continue moving forward with different types of investments. I am wanting to build my future now, and create a soft life for future me.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
After graduation, my aspirations are rooted in both service and sustainability. I am actively exploring internships in banking, consulting, and investment management to find where my passion and purpose align. These experiences will not only help me grow professionally, but also equip me with the tools to empower others. One of my deepest passions is financial literacy. I’ve seen how a lack of financial knowledge can limit families’ potential. I want to change that by creating accessible, community-based financial education programs tailored to underrepresented groups. I envision leading workshops on budgeting, credit, savings, and investing. Especially for young people who may not have access to these lessons at home. Ultimately, I want to remove the fear and confusion around money and replace it with confidence and clarity. When you teach someone how to manage their money, you help them take control of their future.

North Carolina A&T State University class of 2027
Undergrad Major: Business Administration
Claim To Fame:
Opportunities like Moguls in the Making pushed me out of my comfort zone and into boardrooms with CEOs. That pitch competition taught me how much students can achieve when they’re placed in the right environment. Through it, and through roles like RA and Alpha Lambda Delta, I discovered that leadership isn’t loud. It’s about presence, empathy, and consistency. Looking back, I realize that the most powerful part of that weekend wasn’t the competition itself, it was the people. The bonds we formed. The shared experience of building under pressure, dreaming out loud, and cheering each other on. That kind of connection is rare, and I feel lucky to have been a part of it. I may have entered Moguls in the Making hoping to improve my business skills, but I walked away with something even greater: the belief that unity is possible, even in the face of adversity. When we work together, really together, we don’t just build businesses. We build lasting change.
Most Memorable Moment:
Moguls in the Making taught me that unity doesn’t require grand gestures. Invoking just empathy, intention, and shared purpose. In one intense weekend, I saw how powerful it is when people with different backgrounds come together to solve real problems. We didn’t all have the same strengths or communication styles, but we aligned on one goal: building a better future. One of the most impactful parts was meeting a mentor who believed in my voice. She still checks in with me, challenges me to think bigger, and helps me map out my goals. That relationship showed me how meaningful mentorship can be and inspired me to one day offer the same support to others. I left that experience more confident, grounded, and driven. It reminded me that collaboration takes effort, but it’s worth it. I want to spend my life creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and empowered to lead with purpose.
