Born in the Dominican Republic and reared in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. He is fluent in Spanish and has been called upon many times for translation assistance. In addition he has received awards as top salesperson, team leader of technical training and support, and as a Marketing & Sales Director. A graduate of Boys & Girls High School in Brooklyn, and of Cheyney University of Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelors of Science, with a concentration in Marketing. He is a business executive specializing in Retail Finance, with concentration in global energy engineering.

Pedro Barry has over twenty years of progressive and diversified business experience in the financial industry working for Fortune 500 companies such as Anheuser Busch, Inc, Citibank, Transamerica, GE Capital, Chase, and Spike Lee's 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks, where he was head of marketing. His communication skills and technical knowledge has enabled him to advance to higher levels of management in all of companies he has worked for.
