Current Whereabouts:
Currently, I am a freshman at Fisk University. I am a resident of one of the most memorable and historical buildings in the country, Jubilee Hall. This is where I spend most of my evenings on campus.

Most Memorable Moment:
At Fisk University, we annually have an opening convention at the beginning of the year. This year, we were lucky enough to have Fisk's own, Nikki Giovanni, as our keynote speaker. I have always felt that Ms. Giovanni was an excellent speaker and poet, but when I heard her in person, I was deeply moved by all of the advice that so few freshmen in college receive. Even though it had been years since she was in college herself, it seems she knew exactly what we were going through (i.e. adjustments, classes). I will never forget how inspiring and motivational her speech really was to me.
