About   (request update)
Having discovered late in life that I am a writer and artist, it is my intent to continue to learn and grow in the artistic realm -- writing novels and screenplays that exhibit those aspects of African-American life that are little exposed -- those things that are romantic and slice-of-life in a manner that enlightens on-lookers, but heartens African-Americans who live unique lives everyday, but never see their lifestyles in books or on the big screen.
Current Whereabouts:
Black Student Filmmakers Alliance at Georgia State University; attending and planning a film festival
Life & Professional Aspirations:
To create a legacy for my 4-year old grandson, Jason Wesley. To spend the remaining years of my life doing the things I love, and fulfilling the mission for which I was born.

Most Memorable Moment:
Working with a civil rights icon, Dr. Doris Derby at GSU's Office of African-American Student Services & Programs; as student assistant and volunteer coordinator at GSU's student run TV station, GSTV; meeting so many "unique" black scholars who have at heart the well-being of black students; working with all the film majors on exciting projects and filming a teaser of my novel-turned-film "Which Man."
