This year we are hosting a premiere book release celebration, banquet and fashion show, to promote sustainability in the hearts and minds of disadvantaged and abused minority women, and children; through the new book of Dr. Irene W. Huston, "Release Your Mind And Live Again." Dr. Irene W. Huston is a well known author, entrepreneur, and mother of six. She hosts annual events with hundreds of men and women, travelling globally to encourage, equip and build up those in need of hope. She has been in the service of helping people for over 32 years, and has spoken to audiences of over 30,000. She is also the recipient of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Honorable Mention Award in Contra Costa County. As a victim of child molestation and rape, Dr. Huston is committed to making positive change in the lives of women and men, through helping them fulfill their purpose in life. She dives deep into the heart of releasing past hurts to maximize one's full potential. She possesses the tenacity and essence of the true entrepreneurial spirit that rekindles the dreams within everyone she comes into contact with. Through her desire to make positive change, it is possible to make a difference in the lives of abused and neglected children. Recent statistics have shown 3,000,000 cases of child abuse and neglect were reported in this country last year, and 2,000 children died as a result of that abuse. The others suffered in different ways. They endured emotional trauma. They were less likely to be ready for school. They were more likely to have behavior problems, become teen parents, juvenile delinquents, drug and alcohol abusers, and child abusers themselves. Higgins Publishing & Dr. Irene W. Huston are committed to making change through awareness and action, with the premiere book launch of, "Release Your Mind And Live Again," the book designed to touch your heart with laughter, tears, and deliverance. But most importantly, it will rekindle something within you, and drive you towards your purpose; whether that be making a difference in the lives of women and children, or something else that you are deeply passionate about.
