Conversations in the Prose of Poetry: Finalized (Parts I, II, and III)

Conversations in the Prose of Poetry: Finalized (Parts I, II, and III)
Posted By: Atlanta Red on November 17, 2008

I started this series back in March of this year and I struggled with part III until about a month ago when I wrote the piece, "She Is Poetry," which was also produced with my friend, MFH as "They Are Poetry." You''ll have to wait to hear the production that MFH and I worked on together, but I want you to hear this series.

It's written and spoken "differentlly." It's spoken and written as prose, but with the rhyme and rhythm of poetry. If you don't have about 20 minute to hear all 3 pieces, please wait until you have the time. This series addresses so many aspects of "void." We all go through that, right? Well, I think after Part II, you'll be left to wonder to whom or what I'm referring. Part III addresses the disclosure of not only who that "inner voice" is, but also what that inner voice represents -- a spirit of victory and rebirth.

If you've been struggling through anything at all, this piece will offer you remedy and hope. I do believe that faith is absolutely necessary. If you have faith, you have victory. Listen to this and share your thoughts with me.

One Love,

A.R.

Wow A.R. I don't know what to say! I truly enjoyed Conversations:) I am truly honored to be apart of one of your upcoming projects. You are a wonderful poet and you speak from deep. You are an inspiration. I am sure that you touch not only my soul but a lot of others as well. I am glad to be a friend.

Challenges come to make us all strong and yes faith is what gets us through each obstacle which we are faced. God has instilled in me heart that is filled with endless faith.

"Greater is He That Is In Me Than He That Is In the World"! "No Weapon Formed Against Me Shall Prosper"! "I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me" Just three of my many favorite......smile

God bless you A.R. in all you do, I wish you nothin but love, joy, peace, prospertity and abundance!

Xoxo

"The Other Half Of My Weakness"

We may not have met face to face but yet my soul seems to know, It reaches out to you as though it know's you are the one, The one who crave to have a place inside my soul. I feel so alive, I feel the need for you, for you inspired me.

The words flow outward and continuously, there're contiguous how they come so easily without pause. My thoughts overflows like a river streaming down a waterfall. I smile at the thoughts that swell when writing this, thinking how much I adore the things you said and how you said them; trigger my thirst to want more.

You shared your thoughts, false laughter, pain, fear and thought of tears you made them mines. I thank you, oh how I crave for more. I too, are one of whom enjoy the Conversation flow, it was unbelievable. It made me see we can get nothing but better with time as, long as I believe....so I thank you for you, for the sight to see within me; now let me give you the other half of my weakness for you to strengthen.

So now lets us reach the highest journey we can ever reach together....here's to....

Atlanta Red ! I must say you have done it again. I have loved your style of poetry ever since we met online on 360 a few years ago. I have to say it reminds of the coffee houses in NYC listening to poets speak from the heart. I need to get back into mine. Just haven't been inclined to write here lately. But you do inspire me every time I hear you or read your work. Thank you for being an insightful and truly gifted friend. It's is a pleasure to say that. Now tell me where do you see your self in your writing in ten years? Have you met Nikki Giovanni. lol yes I guess I'm old school! Love her works. Who was your mentor, who inspires you to write? What poet of past present or future would you most love to meet? I know mine will always be Maya Angelou! Well baby thank you for sharing you soulful Conversations in The Prose of Poetry with me. I have enjoyed this little bit of peace in a very chaotic world. Keep filling the world with your presence of peace and harmony baby. Take care.
