The Betrayal
|
Posted By: Lonzo Lucas II on February 14, 2009 This picture arrived in my inbox along with the reason behind it a few days ago and blew my mind. It seems that back in that time Muhammad Ali was affiliated with Elijah Muhammad and the Nation of Islam. When Malcolm went through his transformation and discovered the true meaning of Islam he intended to expose the Nation of Islam back here in the states as frauds, charletons and hatemongers of course we all know the story of how Elijah ordered his people to turn their back on Malcolm and to silence him at any cost including and leading up to his untimely death. Muhammad Ali sided with Elijah and betrayed Malcolm as well even though it was buried in the annuls of time until now. This picture shows Malcolm while aware of his fellow man's treachery chose to take the high road while a surprised Muhammad looks on speaks volumes. Now undertand I bear no ill will or malice toward Muhammad because he was a follower at that time but in the same instance God will be the final judge.
