Finding the Will of God

Finding the Will of God
Posted By: Tonja Williams on March 13, 2009

At a crossroad in life, faced with the challenges that sometime keep us in a state of disbelief. Always wondering which way is the right way to turn. With no one to talk to for no one seems to think what your are going through matters enough for them to pay attention. A period of isolation and ponder trying to figure out what is your next step. Do you move forward, right, left, back or just remain still. Trying to find peace in spite of. Trying to reach the ultimate intimacy of wonder that you felt at the very first experience and interaction between you and the Father. You feel low but hopeful, down but enthusiastic, oppressed but in expectation. You are waiting on the Lord and trying to be of Good Courage.

Well my sister and brother I know that there is only one answer to any situation, question, discussion, challenge, test or trial and that is the believing, trusting, relying on the Power of the name of Jesus Christ. Psalm 25:4-5 tells us to ask the Father to show us his ways. It tells us to ask him to teach us His paths, To lead us to His truth because He is the God of our salvation. It tells us that we must wait on his answer. There are many scriptures that tell us how to obtain the Father's instruction it goes so far to tell us to seek and we shall find, knock and the door shall be open and ask and we shall receive the answer. For this reason, there is no question or situation that he will not provide an answer. However, we must prepare ourselves because His answer may not be in the form in which we want, think we need to have it. The bottom line is it is His way, thoughts and it will be accomplished. Be blessed and know that Jesus is Lord.

Finding the will of God is no joke. For the people thinking its going to be an easy road on the way to finding that, I am sorry, you are in the wrong place for that. I am at the point in my life right now. It seems like everytime I make a move, something happens. So I know thats God working for me. Right now I am working part time at this job and I like it but I need something that is going to provide me more hours and more days to work. I have been sacrificing a lot to spend more time with him, working in the church more, praying more and also I started fasting. Which the fasting part I wasnt willing to do at first but when God puts you through something especially being in his will, he is doing it to test your obedience and to get your attention. Since I have done that, things have been going fine.

My sisters I am so glad that God allowed me to impart words into the lives of others. Sometimes I wonder why He give me a word and then I start to write and share it and the with His amazing Glory it is revealed. I give Him all the Glory and Honor. As Jesus says I say nothing unless the Father tells me so. As you can see by the distance of time between blogs. I want to ensure that what I write is always His words not mine because so many times I want to put things the way I think but He reminds me that my ways are not His ways and my thoughts are not His thoughts. With that be blessed.
