But I just moved to South Carolina for Texas and needless to say I don't have a roommate lol...My major is broadcast journalism and I applied for the bethune annex (hopefully I'll get it) because i heard it's the nicest one...I'll see when i go to the spring open house in two weeks. I also got accepted to Howard!!! It's my number one choice. I want to stay in Meridian because if I do I will most likely have a single. But my major is Biology (I eventually want to go to med school). Are you going to the Accepted Student Open House on March 27th?

I got into howard too and I havent decided if I wanted to stay in the annex or meridian hall...I also need a roomate...have you found one yet?

1st of all I am a rising sophmore at Howard and stayed in the Quad last year but I have been in the Annex often. I really wouldnt worry about trying to find a roomate online cause i know a bunch of people who found their roommate online and then could not stand living with the person. 2nd I wanted to respond to Kendra Jackson because I too am a biology student and I would really advise you NOT to stay in meridian because it is a far distance off campus and you have to take the shuttle to campus and then walk uphill to class. I know that MOST classes that you will be taking are in the valley which is directly across the street from the Annex and the Quad. If you really have a hard time getting up or moving fast I would not advise you to stay in meridian as a freshman. Tuesday, April 28th 2009 at 1:47AM |
