SUFFERING TEACHES US LESSONS OF STRENGTH TO INSPIRE OTHERS

SUFFERING TEACHES US LESSONS OF STRENGTH TO INSPIRE OTHERS

SALUTATIONS OF LOVE!

Recently experiencing some suffering, I have found the beauty in having a tough time and enduring it with love with my Savior Jesus Christ. I know it wasn't much, but during it's trial I discovered how wonderful God really is to us. I went without the everyday luxuries of having electric power in my home. For five days, I slept in the dark, had no television, no way to cook a meal, no hot water for a bath and not even the freedom of using the internet. During this short span of time I spent reading the bible, writing of my love for God and praying. My trial seemed easier because I knew that in faith it would be over soon. Some are facing far more fiercy trials than I did. I valued the small suffering so much that even when my home's power was restored, I decided to keep doing as I was before.

I found it inspiring and joyful to suffer! My attention was focused on worshipping and praisng the God of Heaven. I found during this time, I am preparing my soul for Jesus to return. Just think lessons like these are needed so we can call on the Lord.

Here's a verse of scripture which I turned to at random to give you hope and strength of appreciating every moment of life, even when you are suffering.

And do not seek what you should eat or should drink,
nor have an anxious mind.
"For all these things the nations of the world seek after,
and your Father knows that you have need those things.
But seek the kingdom of God, all these things shall be added to you."
"Do not fear little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom."
Luke 12:29-32 (NIV)

BLESSINGS AND PRAYERS TO YOU
