SIMPLY OUTRAGED

SIMPLY OUTRAGED

For those of you who haven't heard this story yet, please see the NBC Philadelphia news link above. It is the year of 2009 it is time for the people to stand up and make a change for what is right.

We need to stop racial discrimination, attacks and profiling once and for all.
I wanted to let everyone that I could reach to know about the kind of things our children today are still facing.

If we can all send letters, emails what ever it takes to show our disappointment and let the owners of this facility know, we will no longer stand back and continue to let racial discrimination be a part of our lives, then maybe we can make a difference in these children lives.
I am simply OUTRAGED by this!

My People~ This outrageous incident that occurred in Philadelphia (The City of "Brotherly Love") should serve to disabuse us of any illusions or delusions that the election of Barack Hussein Obama would usher in a so-called "post-racial" era. Quite the contrary. We will see and are beginning to see only the beginning of "racist blow back." Hold on and get ready for the next round in this the 21st Century. Obama's election was great and historic, but this incident should cement and resolve our understanding that perhaps now more than ever we are about to enter the struggle of a lifetime. This time the "Revolution WILL be Televised"!

It is still there, and it is not going anywhere soon. Let's face it racism is here for a long time, maybe in will go away in the lifetime of our great great grands, not before. But the good thing is today we don't have to take it. Some of us feel we do but we really don't. Sisters are the backbone of the black family and brothers are, for the most part, the providers. The key is to bond together. My father would say there's strength in numbers, and if we do we would begin to get much better results and would face things like racism head on in a 150 mph wind. The problem is we don't, as soon as we are in a better position than another black person, we begin to think we are better than them, that our standards are higher and we no longer need to be among our own people. The problem with us is that we are carried away by material things; a job, a car, a house in the suburbs, makes us feel we are better than other blacks, so there is no unity among us. But, if we put all that aside and be there for each other and look out for each other nothing or no one can touch us, and we would reduce racism by 50% which is a start.
