A Quote From Someone Who Should Now Be Considered Irrelevant

A Quote From Someone Who Should Now Be Considered Irrelevant

"THANKS to an unlikely confluence of history and genetics — the fact that he is African-American and president — Barack Obama has a unique opportunity to reshape the debate over one of the most contentious issues of America’s racial legacy: reparations, the idea that the descendants of American slaves should receive compensation for
their ancestors’ unpaid labor and bondage. You know why those blacks don't work? They think America owes them reparations. You know why they all support Obama? They think he is going to give them something in the form of reparations

Lucas...the logic is there....But, for white America to do what is "right", it takes a whole lots of pressure from congress and the people. The optimum window of opportunity for reparations was in the later 1800s after the emancipation proclamation. The heat was on and right after the civil war. But, now, after the white man has paid millions to professional black athletes; paid millions to academic scholarships for African Americans to go to college; paid millions in healthcare and unemployment.......Reparations is 'NOT" going to happen. Not in your or my lifetime.....not EVER....the best thing for Black Americans is to seek nationhood outside of America. And that is my divine purpose.
