Posted By: Tour Manager on August 23, 2010 Yes, Orlando is at it again with hosting the Meac/Swac Challenge and Tailgate at the Citrus Bowl Stadium in Orlando,FL, September 5, 2010. This year we will get to watch Deleware State take on Southern University! The game's start time was moved up to 12 noon this year. The time change will allow for Pre-game Tailgate & a Post-game Tailgate! The 2010 Great "Heart & Soul" Tailgate is free to the public. During the pre-show, you will get to enjoy 9am church service with Pastor Zachary Tims of New Destiny Church, music entertainment, vendors to purchase your favorite souveneirs, a Collard Green Cookoff, and more! After the game, the tailgate continues with more music, Central Florida Steppers, Battle of the Bands and Chicken Wing eating contest, and more! If you come into town early, make sure you check out Oley's Caribbean & Homestyle Restaurant, Johnson's Family Soul Food Diner, Grant Transportation (bus, towncar, vans), & Florida Cultural Tours (African-American & cultural tours)! All are members of the CanDo Network & are local Black-owned businesses located near the Citrus Bowl!
