Safe in Augusta

Thank you for your emails...Although my house, my parents house, and every other house in the city is currently underwater I am happy to say that I know no individuals who may have been directly affected by Katrina, lifewise. My school is also supposedly under water right now! That makes me upset because I planned to graduate and be the fourth generation of my family to be a DU Alum. I have two pairs of jeans, one skirt, one pair of silver flip flops, a Louis V bag, a Gucci bag, like 5 shirts, my make-up bag, and some photos. And literally I think that's all I have to my closet now. I have nowhere to live, but I have my life. And that makes me happy!
