Posted By: DARRELL SWEET on September 15, 2005 Here I am Lord the day arrive and I’m so confused Confined to one room without one thought of what to do No hints, no advice, not even one clue One guy I know has reached the end of his rope The same guy with lots of faith stands with no hope From a serious game that started off as a joke Now the devil laughs, taunts, and constantly pokes I’ve been dealt raw dealings, been embarrassed, criticized, and beat down so I strived with hurt feelings Up to this point and still counting, no killings So I know I can make it I just got to be willing Lord have mercy, I need me a healing Chorus: The day came, when I sat down with myself Cried out to God and prayed for everyone else He gave me wisdom that will take me through this life That’s why I got to walk with Christ and put up the dice I can’t help how I feel this is on my mind If I’m wrong for feeling this way, show me a sign A sign my son, I’ve shown you more than one How’s your life going to end when it hasn’t begun I kept you for a purpose, not just rapping on the pulpit during praise and worship Be my faithful servant and put it in your head and understand faith without works is dead “D” why are you confused?
