I'm Getting Married Tomorrow

I
Posted By: Laron Henderson on May 09, 2011

See I’m getting married tomorrow and her name is Success.
See I had something else on the side that I was married to before and her name was Failure.

But it’s time I leave Failure behind and divorce her and move on to Success.
Failure keeps me down and always wants to clown me in front of my friends, wants to drown me in nothing but misery and hate.

But Success treats me right and helps to uplift my spirits.
Failure tells me what I can’t do, Failure keeps me content and comfortable.
Success tells me what I can do, get uncomfortable, go out try something new and different

Failure laughs at my fears and uses them against me.
Success encourages me to face my fears and overcome them.

Failure tells me I’m not a man because of what I don’t have.
Success tells me to stand up and be a man, take control of your destiny, and things will get greater later.

Failure is only concerned with the present and right now instant gratification and satisfaction and makes decisions based on those circumstances.

Success says look beyond the right now and look towards your future, overlook your circumstances and make decisions for future results.

Failure nags, groans, complains about problems, and drains all my energy.
Success says to focus on solutions to those problems and come to grips with your greatness.

Failure negates any and everything I say, works against me and tries to destroy my confidence.
Success works for and with me, encourages me and helps me build my confidence, shares my thoughts , respects my decisions and opinions and we work together to make things last forever.

Failure is ungrateful and unappreciative, and hurls hateful insults my way all day everyday.
Success is helpful, thoughtful, appreciative and understands my struggles, makes suggestions and guides me through them.

Failure procrastinates and always puts things off till later or tomorrow.
Success takes action and says do it now because tomorrow is never promised.

So Ms Failure I’m leaving you divorcing you never calling you or seeing you again you bring me nothing but stress. Success is who I’m with, who I’m marrying she’s beautiful and truly a blessing.
