Howard Homecoming Sponsorship Opportunity
|
Posted By: Will Moss on July 14, 2011 It's almost time for Howard University Homecoming 2011! That time of year when we come together to honor and celebrate the esteemed heritage, contributions and traditions alumni have made to one of the country's top historic universities! This year we are reaching out to selected partners to join us in sponsoring this annual event where more than 100,000 people gather to celebrate the rich history and legacy of this historical institution. The Howard University Homecoming 2011 audience is far-reaching. As a proud sponsor, your participation would heighten your company's exposure, increase overall revenue, and cultivate and sustain a positive partnership well beyond this year’s festivities.... Established in 1867, Howard University boasts a myriad prestigious alumni, from Pioneer Surgeon, Dr. Charles R. Drew, ground breaking Civil Rights Attorney Thurgood Marshall, to Pulitzer Prize Author Toni Morrison, and Entertainer/Entrepreneur Sean "Diddy" Combs, all who have undoubtedly impacted and transformed our global community. In the past, previous partners who have sponsored Howard University’s Homecoming have included AT&T, National Geographic, Nike, U.S. Army, Abercrombie & Fitch and Verizon Wireless. Entertainers and athletes such as actor Jamie Foxx, basketball star John Salley, tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams, and singers John Legend and Erykah Badu, have all celebrated as previous Homecoming participants. Don’t miss this opportunity to help sustain Howard's legacy as an institution that has made indelible contributions in education, communication, business, arts and science. Please feel free to contact Aliya Thompson via email at athompson@hbcuconnect.com to participate in this prestigious event.
