HBCU Student Katrina Victims Returning the Favor
|
Posted By: Montana Rodney on October 11, 2005 Montana Rodney and Ray Rodney Jr., attendees of Dillard University are returning the favor to all those who supported them and all Katrina and Rita Victims. After riding out the storm with their family, they have transfered to FAMU to continue their education. Overwhelmed by the amount of help and support received there, these siblings are now working to pay everyone back in their own special way. By combining their special talents of Japanese and English, they have come up with several ways for a Katrina Relief Fund through their own company, ANTJA!! For more information, please visit the Hurricane Katrina link to www.antja.net In the meantime, while at FAMU the two are making the best of their time by participating in different activities and holding Japanese classes with the Anime club. Though their stay at FAMU may be short, they plan on making their time at FAMU memorable. "FAMU has done so much for us. By the time we're done here, they won't want to let us go!" said Ms. Rodney. An ANTJA Katrina Relief Concert will be held this week and next week in Japan to assist with raising funds for this occasion. There is also a guest book on the website. Please feel free to post your comments and an answer to any questions will be replied within 48 hours. Once again, thank you for your support, or as Ray and Montana will say, Arigatougozaimasu!!
