SYNOPSIS: Beth Owen, a successful Software Business Analyst consultant from CELTECH, encounters the hardship of being a intelligent African-American female in Corporate America when she is deemed not the right color or beautiful. She is ignored by the witty, good-looking Jerrod Gilmore whom is also African-American but fits the corporate portrait. Meanwhile, the long awaited Shante Moore, the team Project Manager returns from her illness; looks down on Beth because she has her own self-inflicting issues dealing with her culture, and makes it known that she favors her non African-American workers. Todd, an astute, cool Caucasian co-worker, befriends Beth only to fill her in on her own self-hatred and how African-Americans are viewed from the other side.
