Well, I decided I would join in the lovely fun called "blogging". Maybe someone is interested in reading my random thoughts...so here goes.

It's so dayum cold outside! I hate cold weather. And then there's the threat of "severe winter weather *cough*. It's funny here. Us southern folk aren't equipped to deal with winter weather, so it's hilarious when the threat of bad wintertime weather occurs! They have stuff all over the news ("Storm Watch '05 and "blizzard '05" news reports), and then, everyone goes out and buys milk, bread, and eggs like they're going to be snowed in for days...and it usually turns out to be bad weather overnight. Then there's the idiot on the expressway who wants to do 90 mph cuz he's driving an SUV, and ends up twisted within the median.

Aside from the cold weather madness, I just hate cold temperatures, because it sends me into hibernation mode. I swear, Atlanta will be the farthest north I ever live (well, maybe Memphis)...

but if I had my wish, I'd go back to Florida. I'm a beach girl at heart. I'll take hot weather over cold anyday!!!

There's nothing like sitting on a beach, with some nice jazz or chill music (this new music I've discovered, and I LOVE IT!!), and just watching the waves on the ocean, the people, the sky. I could do this in Atlanta, I guess, but the lakes up here suck!!! If I couldn't make it to the beach in Florida, there was always a beautiful, tranquil, lake or pond nearby. And there's a lot to be said about 65 - 70 degree weather in February!

I guess that's enough for today. I need to get back to work and act like a productive little worker. :-)
