Dear Employer Partner:

Greetings! You are cordially invited to participate in the upcoming Jackson State University Spring Career Fair to be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom. Through our On-Campus Recruitment Program, employers can effectively connect to students, easily identify potential candidates, and greatly increase their company's visibility. This is accomplished through information sessions/booths, classroom and recruitment visits.

Why recruit at Jackson State University? The Career Services Center offers many effective services to assist employers in connecting with potential candidates. You can use our Web-based recruiting system, Tigers2Work, to list your job and internship opportunities, arrange campus interviews, register for career fairs, and view resumes.

Registration Fee

The registration fee includes one table, two chairs and lunch for two representatives.
Registration $200.00
Each Additional Representative $25.00

Registration Fees are non-refundable.

If your registration plans change upon your arrival to the event (ex. Extra Representatives) additional fees will incur on a separate invoice after the event.

What happens after I register for Spring Career Fair 2016?

1. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your registration request.
2. Upon the approval of your registration, you will receive an email which will include instructions on how pay for the event, an invoice, parking pass, campus map, shipping instructions and deadlines, and general logistics for the Spring Career Fair.
3. Once your payment has been received, you will receive an email with an updated invoice/receipt.
4. Remember, if you are registering for a representative (s) from your organization, please forward to them the confirmation letter and logistical information for the event.

The Career Services Center offers many effective services to assist employers in connecting with potential candidates. You can use our Web-based recruiting system, Tigers2Work, to list your job and internship opportunities, arrange campus interviews, register for career fairs, and view resumes. Participation in the OCR program begins with your registration in Tigers2Work.

Are you a new user? To register with Tigers2Work visit our webpage at www.jsums.edu/careers. Click on the Tigers2Work icon and register for a new account. Are you a returning user? Visit www.jsums.edu/careers, click on the Tigers2Work icon and login to your account. Forgot password? Click on the “Forgot Password” tab to have it reset.

Once you have registered/ logged in to Tigers2Work, click on the “OCR” tab and complete an OCR request. If you have any concerns while completing this process, please call us at 601-979-2477.

February 3, 2016 Federal Employers Panel Discussion
February 8, 2016 Pre-select and open interviews start. Pre-select interview dates must be scheduled at least four weeks in advance.
February 9, 2016 Career Boot Camp
February 10, 2016 Spring Career Fair (No OCR Interviews)
February 10, 2016 “Beyond Please and Thank You” Etiquette Dinner
February 11, 2016 On-Campus Interviews (ROOM RESERVATIONS ONLY, Contact CSC to make reservation)

March 7-11, 2016 Mid-Terms (No OCR Interviews)
March 14-18, 2016 Spring Break (No OCR Interviews)
March 25-28, 2016 Holiday Break (No OCR Interviews)

April 7, 2016 Spring Teacher Recruitment Day (No OCR Interviews)
April 22, 2016 Last day for interviews during the Spring ‘16 semester
April 30, 2016 Commencement
