KELLER WINS RED RIVER ATHLETIC CONFERENCE DEFENDER OF THE WEEK

Posted By: Hija Chang on October 04, 2016 Wiley College volleyball player Miyah Keller (SO/Beaumont, TX)'s strong performance in Saturday's victory over Huston-Tillotson University earns her Red River Athletic Conference Defender of the Week Monday. Keller recorded 20 digs in Saturday's victory and 28 total last week. For the week, Keller averaged 3.5 digs per set. She also helped out offensively with three assists on the week. In both games combined, Keller only made two receiving errors. At the conclusion of play Saturday, Keller is ranked third in the RRAC with 4.6 digs per set. This is Keller's second Defender of the Week award. She won on September 5. This is the Lady Wildcats' third weekly conference award. Rebecca Moustapha (SR/Houston, Texas) won Attacker of the Week on August 29. Wiley College visits University of Saint Thomas-Houston at 6 p.m. Friday.
