Extracurricular Activities: While on campus I have had the pleasure of serving as Chief Event Coordinator of the Miss Spelman Advisory Board, a member of the Spelman College Residence Hall Association, Sisters Keeping It Real Through Service, Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society, Ethel Waddell Githii Honors Program, and the "Sweet" Mu Pi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

Leisure Activities: I love writing, singing, and painting when I have the time. Lately, I've gotten into carpentry a little, and I love it. But more often than not, you'll catch me tucked away with my headphones on lost in the madness of melody. Anything that pertains to creating, that's me.

Career Goals: As a self-proclaimed humanist and a sure-fire artist, I want to champion my passion for the culture, development, and mass creative engagement of the human race. Ultimately, I aim to excel in the utilization and reconditioning of art and film, to stimulate and interrupt the human experience.

I believe in being a student of life and that the structuring and restructuring of spaces can lend to new truths and agreements that redefine and transform what it means to be a human being in this era. Somehow, I'm going to make a profession out of that.

What is your most memorable contribution as a Campus Queen?: My most memorable contribution as a Campus Queen was an art installation that I created during Midterms entitled "Comparison Kills" under my platform on mental health awareness. The installation mimicked a candle-light vigil, bringing light to the rise in the number of suicides and mental health related incidents on college campuses during Midterms and Finals. Suicide has become the second leading cause of death for college students. We pressure ourselves way too much. So I sought to remind the campus that is possible to take care of both our grades, and ourselves. And to let go of trying to keep up with the next person, as it is more toxic than we think. It was bold. But honest. And that was the impact that I wanted to have.
