The Attic LA Presents Artscape: The Culture's Movement
|
Posted By: Ramar Leigh on June 09, 2018 The Attic LA presents the Artscape a uniquely inclusive event for artist whose talents range from visual, written, and musical arts. The exclusivity of a traditional art show, coupled with a yearning for greater diversity in the art world motivated the founders. Creating an event that uplifts by spreading positive vibes, giving artist a space to tell their story, and building community of reciprocity from artist to community and vice versa. The mission? “Fostering creativity through Artscape, building a culture of inclusion, while ultimately exposing the artist to the community and the community to the artist!” says co-founders Avery Norrington and Ramar Leigh. There are no boundaries to the depth of creativity within artistry, story, or culture. The Attic LA is doing this for the culture! With countless stories to be told and so many ways to tell them, the founders believe it’s paramount that the stories work to eliminate the barriers between artist and patron. Musicianship, spoken word, visual artistry, and spinning on the 1s and 2s as a DJ, Artscape will have it all. “There is something for everyone, the event is bound to leave you invigorated by its collection of talent. Artscape is a game-changing way to promote and discover artistic landscape and talent in Los Angeles, a movement that will get people talking,” says co-founders Rob Larry and Kevin Chu. This is a reflection of hip-hop’s culture, a model for artistic spaces that are yet to come, and an escape from the boundaries of the traditional art settings.” Experience the movement Sunday, June 17th, 2018 from 7:00–10:00 PM at 8950 Ellis Avenue Los Angeles, CA 90034. With fresh mixes from two awesome DJs Bella Foxx, and DJ Hona Costello. Come grab $5 drink specials with a valid ID inside a vault. This is an exclusive, free of charge, event. About The Attic LA The Attic LA was founded by four ethnically diverse young men who believe in changing the way art and music is perceived. Their goal is to include every talent and to celebrate artistry. The Attic LA trusts in the power of hard work and never giving up on your dreams. Expect to see this group throughout the Los Angeles scene bringing you events such as Artscape and others that promote their goal.
