Posted By: Nea Simone on December 07, 2018 Fisk University graduate Dr. Kerry Cox and son, Kyle Cox members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity acquired TCG Footwear to become first and only African-American Father-Son to own luxury brand sneaker company. LOS ANGELES, CA (Dec 5, 2018) A Father-Son duo and Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity members of The National Pan-Hellenic Council have acquired TCG Footwear. Although the sneakers are sold in Nordstrom and other brick and mortar retailers worldwide, the brand has the industry abuzz with the highly anticipated release of its new exclusive luxury line that will only be available through their website. The new styles will be available in February in limited quantities. As a nod to their Kappa roots the brand added red soles to the Kennedy whites, their flagship shoe with the plan to do a color nod to each member of the Divine Nine. The father-son team has offices in the downtown LA fashion district but work from their home office in Ladera Heights, CA. In November they were featured on the OWN Home Made Simple hosted by Laila Ali who sent the team to re-create their home office into a functional workspace. When asked to describe the TCG wearer, Kyle Cox responds, " TCG is for those that lives their life to the fullest.
