I've Missed You...

I
Posted By: Monica Brown on March 29, 2006

It's been awhile since I've posted a blog. I've missed everybody. I am doing well. Senior year has proven to be very busy for not only my daughter but also me and my husband. We've been sending information back and forth to Prairie View and even visiting their campus and a reception they held here in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Each time I communicate with Prairie View I feel more and more confident in the upcoming adventure for my daughter.

My other children are all doing fine. Jeremy has completed his freshman basketball year at Jackson State. He did a wonderful job and so did Jackson State. Tony is going to summer school so he can finish junior college in December and has been talking to the coach at Jackson State.

We might just have another son down at J State by the Spring semester of 2007. 3 children in college... Thank you God!!! My baby boy is 12 and he landed the part of Aladdin in his school play/musical. He is very good and excited to say the least. My baby girl is 10 and she is basking in the glow of just turning 10 and having a Build a Bear birthday party.

My husband is doing well. His surgery went fine and he is getting around really good. I thank God for healing his body so quickly. I'm doing good. I should be starting a new job next week. It's an exciting change and I look forward to it. A lot has happened in a few months, as you can see.

I pray that everyone is doing well and I know that the rest of the Class of 2006 is excited about prom, graduation and going off to college in a few months.

Love you!!!

Mama Mo
