Travis Leonard, a young good looking African American male, struggles to fight against his temptation for Marissa as he takes his appointment as minister of his first congregation. There has been a Leonard in the pulpit of a large congregation since the days of slavery and Travis refuses to be the first to break tradition. Both of their lives and the community are in turmoil as they discover the strippers are being murdered one by one. The killer is coming closer to Marissa as she and Travis realize they must bare it all to each other to not only have a future together but to find God's presence and purpose and hope for that future.
