Posted By: Fika Mbambo on August 03, 2020 Our organization, called Great Debaters International Association that was inspired by the work of Professor Melvin B Tolson Sr. We have been in operation in South Africa since 2008. We had formed partnership with US embassy in South Africa, South African government, Weinstein Company and the Melvin B Tolson family foundation. We would appreciate if we can get suggestions and volunteers as we want to partner with Wiley College to celebrate Professor Melvin B Tolson. The event should be during the African American month, maybe on his birth day, 6th of February. I think I should also mentioned the primary objective of our organization. We have developed a high school debating training manual. The manual was developed in assistant by the late son of the Professor, Dr Melvin B Tolson Jr. It was accredited by the South African educational organization called ETDP Seta.We want to revive debating as a sport code, globally.
