Howard's Financial Aid Package

Posted By: Jamila Best on May 01, 2006 I know a girl commented below about not getting a package, but I got mine, and HU's is being stingy...actually, all they gave me was a crap load of loans...I've been calling the school and such to see if they can fix my package (on top of writing mad letters) but yea, my package tells me bad news...WHY HOWARD?!?! I feel you on that girl. They have been doing me the same way, it's such a shame because personally I could do better. But Howard's where I want to go.

i'm on the same page...I didn't get totally loans, b/c i did get a scholarship out of them, but i still have loans...yet i really want to be at Howard and my parents told me if I'm willing to sacrafice the loan paybacks after school to go for it!

I had loans, but I wasn't settling for that bc I could have went somewhere else for free....they finally gave me the Presidential Scholarship...

I did not recieve a scholarship either and I know I am on top of my game and books... I don't know what is up with that, but i am just hoping that by the end of first semester i get a full ride...
