Investor and Motivational Speaker Elijah Stevens is Inspiring the Masses with His Powerful Story

Investor and Motivational Speaker Elijah Stevens is Inspiring the Masses with His Powerful Story
Posted By: Elijah Stevens on March 07, 2021

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elijah Stevens.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

Thank you for this amazing opportunity to share my story. Well, it has truly been a journey. I got to where I am today because of being told no so many times; being told that I couldn’t achieve my dreams, and deciding that no matter how many times I’m told no, I would not take no as a final answer. My whole life is dedicated to inspiring and mentoring individuals on how to use faith to relentlessly pursue their dreams and overcome stubborn obstacles and barriers in that process, whether it is financial, spiritual, emotional, or psychological. The pivotal point in my life was when I had a dream to study music abroad in the US but I was declined from 7 local scholarships in my country, the Bahamas and I had no financial support from my parents who suggested that I stayed and worked for a year to attend our local college. That was the moment the fire burnt deep within and I said no, I will not take no for answer, someway, somehow my dreams will be realized! Packing all my things and leaving my life behind, I went to take an audition at Bethune-Cookman University in faith that I would receive scholarship to attend school. 4 years later, after receiving institutional scholarships, I graduated summa cum laude as a first-generation college student who was recognized by the United States Department Of Education as a 2017 White House H.B.C.U All-Star for outstanding leadership, civic engagement and academics.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

Overcoming homelessness in the shelters of NYC as I pursued my dream of studying with Olga Kern, 2001 Van Cliburn Piano Competition Winner at Manhattan School of Music (MSM) was a huge obstacle for me. Similarly to when I first left my country to pursue my studies at Bethune-Cookman University, after I graduated in 2017, I acquired teaching jobs in Jacksonville, Florida that I eventually left behind when I decided to pack my things and move to NYC where I hoped to study at my dream school, MSM. When I wasn’t initially accepted, I was heart broken and instead of going back home or back to Florida to try to piece together my life again, I stayed in NYC because I just wouldn’t take no. I got another teaching job, paid for my application, landed an audition, and finally got accepted to Manhattan School of Music. I was also accepted to Columbia University. This story was featured on Now This News, Yahoo, MSN and NBC. I had hoped that all the publicity would’ve helped me gain financial support to begin my studies at MSM but it still wasn’t enough. While I did raise enough to start the semester at school, I remember the painful day when I was escorted from the campus dormitory because I had no money left to continue my studies with Olga Kern. Shattered, confused and traumatized, I invested in a forex trading course and mentorship program with determination that money would never again be an obstacle!

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I am a forex trader, investor and trainer who founded Market Destroyers Wealth Club, LLC. I teach people how to turn their phones into ATMs, how to make a month’s salary in an hour, and how to be their own boss who creates their own schedule. I’m also a motivational speaker, classically-trained pianist and author of Book of Elijah: The Gift of Faith. I give people hope, and help them cultivate the ability to dream again so that their inner voice can be heard and understood.

In my forex training and mentorship program I offer a hands-on approach where I will teach members all the strategies they’ll need to become profitable. What a lot of other programs are missing is the intimacy in the learning process that students want and need. Forex itself can be challenging, but with the right kind of mentorship and mentor, a student can advance towards profitability in half or a quarter of the time it would take them to do it on their own. I deeply value my student’s results and I understand their needs and concerns because I’ve been there. I always say that I went through the trial and error so that anyone coming into my program would not have to. I currently have students who are making one thousand dollars a day and recently my beginning student of 3 weeks turned a 300 dollar account to 1,000 dollars in just 2 days!

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

You need to take a risk. Take that risk on investing in yourself and in your dreams. The traditional educational system teaches us to invest in building someone else’s dreams, goals and futures, but are you building yours? How much time are you investing in your own goals and dreams? I challenge you to dream again, it’s only when we’re dreaming that we are truly alive in a way that can be deeply felt! The world needs your contribution! Also, don’t be afraid to fail, fall or make mistakes. Don’t be afraid of being told no or not having enough support to get to your goal. Fear limits you. The journey of 1,000 miles begins with the first step. Begin that journey today. Don’t wait until tomorrow. Don’t wait until you think it’s the right time because the “right” time may never come. Over time I’ve concluded that belief and faith expands your entire world in a way that makes everything that was once impossible, possible.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

To me, success is so many things. Success is both a journey and a destination. Success is all the little steps you take each day that add up to make you a better person overall. Success is intentional and deliberate living. Success is finding your purpose and calling and walking in it! Success is manifesting your dreams, goals, potential and divine purpose. Success is living a life that’s worth living. Success is being a person of good character and integrity. Success is being grateful for what you have and taking the time to give back and help others.

What’s next for you?

Well, it’s hard to say because I never saw me becoming an investor and forex trader but here I am hahaha. I want to impact the world by continually sharing my story but also through the power of teaching others how to become financially free through forex trading. Eventually I want to create foundations that support individuals who do not have the financial support to pursue their dreams or further their education. I’m planning on doing many more inspirational speaking gigs where people both young and old can hear my story up close for themselves and experience the dynamic power of the Gift of Faith in my life and how that shaped me from where I was to where I am today. I endeavor to inspire others to never take no for answer. To add to this, I’m currently writing several more books and plan to continue building the amazing foundation God has given me.
