Jackson State Grad Lands Dream Job at Microsoft as Technical Program Manager via HBCU CONNECT!

Posted By: Will Moss on February 11, 2022 Meet Michael Williams, Jackson State University graduate and the latest of many recent hires made by Microsoft as a result of their on-going partnership with HBCU CONNECT. Michael attended an HBCU CONNECT hiring event with Microsoft back in July of 2021 and made a connection with recruiter, Jesse Sparks. After speaking, Michael was set up to join an interview day and meet lots of different hiring organizations at Microsoft in September of 2022. Shortly after the event, Michael received an offer and started working for Microsoft as a Technical Program Manager, soon to be out of the new Atlanta, GA location. Will Moss, CEO of HBCU CONNECT interviewed Mr. Williams after being hired and commented "with the competition for Program Management jobs being at a premium, especially with a company like Microsoft, Michael should feel very proud of landing the gig and getting a company like Microsoft on the resume!"
