Classroom Conversations: The Path To Wall Street

Classroom Conversations: The Path To Wall Street
Posted By: Tracy Boleware on April 22, 2022

In honor of National Financial Education Month, The Black Executive & Student Training Program (The BEST Program), in partnership with World of Money.org and The YWCA of Metropolitan Chicago will be hosting a 90-minute virtual event for students on "The Path To Wall Street" that will detail what students need to know to get an internship and create their own path to a career on wall street. The event is scheduled for Monday, April 25th from 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm ET

This is an important event for students as they will have access to senior level executives working in the financial services industry that can give the key insights and practical advice on how to navigate the often-intimidating world of financial services.

Our speakers include

Sabrina Lamb, Founder and Executive Director, World of Money.org
Derrick Warren, Assistant Dean, School of Business, Southern University
Mark Ferguson, Founder and CEO, Innervation Finance Group
Walter K. Booker, COO at MarketCounsel and Chairman Emeritus Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO)
Garrett Collins, Real Estate Private Equity Analyst, Angelo Gordon

The event is free to attend and you can register for the event at:

RSVP: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/318861361917

I do hope you will share this with your students and encourage them to attend. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly at the number listed below.

Best,

Tracy Tramel-Boleware
