Time for Black folks to drop Nike and Twitter

Posted By: Thomas Manning on December 05, 2022 Time for Black folks to drop Nike and Twitter Today Nike announced that it was cutting ties with Kyrie Irving due to his posting antiemetic material. I am looking and listening for the reactions of the African American community and Black professional athletes. It's really time to cut ties with Nike and Twitter. If you will check Nike's official website, they have Twitter accounts. Elon Musk and his Twitter company are engaged in far more support and the spreading of antisemitism, anti- LGBTQ+, racism against African Americans and people of color, as well as misogyny. Nike officials have said nothing about cutting ties with Elon Musk and Twitter. This is the old double standard which is nothing short of racism against African Americans. We have economic lynching of African Americans while we ignore the rich guy. I really do not see how the NBA players association can remain quiet. So if you are a billionaire and not a person of color and is spreading racism through your business it's okay and we will continue to do business with you. However, if you are a person of color and you say something "they" don't like you must be stripped of your wealth. I decided to check the site of JDL they have Twitter accounts. If we are to eradicate racism, bigotry, misogyny, and the like they must be addressed the same regardless of the individual or company. If Twitter is not stripped of its wealth and business relationships, then Ye (Kanye West) and Kyrie Irving must have their business relationships restored. You will not find me on Twitter as I closed my account.
