Posted By: Shawana Collins on October 13, 2023 Hello Amazing People😁 My name is Shawana Collins and I am a College Advisor at an amazing charter school call New Visions Charter School Advanced Math and Science IV in Queens, NY Next year on Wednesday February,'28th 2024. For the first time in History, I will be hosting our 1st Annual HBCU College Fair titled "The Black College Experience" in honor of Black History Month. I am looking for around 40-50 HBCU's to come to my school and meet with some amazing 9th thru 12th graders. I deemed it so important for our scholars to be exposed to the HBCU culture as well as motivate them to go to college!
