the worst night of my life

Posted By: Jackie Bell on June 10, 2006 yesterday june 9 2006 was my prom day and i did not go. i was all ready to go with my hair nails make-up shoes jewelry and everything. everything was perfect until the man that was making my dress did not finish it and i had nothin to wear. i gave this man alot of time to make my dress and my date's shirt and he had neither done. it was my 12th grade prom and i missed it. i am so mad i keep thinking its a dream and i will wake up and it will be prom day but this is truely reality. the prom was supposed to be a night i would remember for the rest of my life and i have nothin to remember besides the fact that i did not go. Sorry to hear Sis, but God does bottle up tears and sends them bkac as Blessings. I know it may not feel good now but maybe/hopefully a Blessing will come from this event. For my prom some years ago, I was asked by a girl Sonya to go. I was coming out of my last foster home, was staying with grand parents. To make a long story short I had not the money nor the car to pick her up, so I played it off from what I knew at the time as a teenager and did not show and put off her phone calls. I just remember that upon reading Your blog. Appreciate the share and I know it was not easy to share that story. By the way that scripture is found in Psalms 56:8.
