My black brothas and sistas, we have to understand the nature of our society. We are used time and time again for the pleasure of a host that doesn't care for us.

Why do my brothas objectify their beautiful black women? Did you know the ancient Nubians revered their women and held them in the highest regard? If we are the descendants of the oldest and most powerful people on earth, why do we subcumb to evils given to us by this western world? ATTENTION MY SISTAS! STOP LETTING MEN TREAT YOU AS IF YOU'RE THE LOWEST THING ON THIS EARTH! DO NOT ACCEPT THIS IMAGE OF THE "LOOKING GLASS SELF"! BE WHO YOU WANT TO BE, NOT WHO THEY WANT YOU TO BE! LOOK AT ANGELA! LOOK HOW STRONG SHE IS! IF THERE IS ANY IMAGE TO FOLLOW, FOLLOW HERS! YOU WANT A ROLEMODEL? FOLLOW AFTER HER. FOLLOW ASSATA! BE STRONG, BE PROUD SISTAS! We must stand up and find in ourselves some common integrity that allows us to say no to the traducers of this race. Otherwise we will surely remain the lost ones of an ancient people.
This has been another righteous blog by Jasmine Moore. I only try to speak the truth. Thank you.

WOW!!! beautiful blog from a beautiful sistah’....your truth speaks volumes. IT GOT ME THINKIN’ cuz there is an interrelated problem associated with your blog. Dig this right here...the depreciation of our SISTAH’s is a problem for the African-American race TRUE (as you so eloquently stated) BUT the most serious of African-American pathologies is the routinization of illegitimacy as a way of life. Today at work I waz readin my VIBE and this writer (HER NAME SLIPS MY MIND) wrote a piece on “BABY MAMA DRAMA” or some bull**** like that, what got me was that this sistah’ has an opportunity to use her pen to speak to the masses and denounce the practice of “BABY MAKIN”...but wit some 5 paragraphs of rhetorical flourishes this woman arrives at a neutral zone...not going either way!!! I cannot as a BLACK see how the fact that 70% of young black children born in the U.S. today are illegitimate coupled with the fact that some 65% of black households are run by female is not a red flag for us as a people to “STAND-UP and Listen”. It’s a major problem when illegitimacy is normalized both, statistically and morally. BUT AGAIN THE BLAME FALLS ON THE MEN. In most societies a young man cannot just readily impregnate a woman and leave because they are protected by their fathers and male relatives....FOOD 4 THOUGHT!!! We cannot sit-by and allow our race to ethically deteriorate and morally corode....SO MUCH TO SAY but time and space will not allow it to be so...so.....YA’LL GET AT ME

Amen Sis and there are brutha's out there that still reverence Black Women.I pray that more sistahs will grow to think like you because they play a major role also and do not realize the domino affects they play for all black women. Those types I call females anyway.
But honestly I as well as many black men have been caught up with those types...
