CHARLOTTE, NC — The South Carolina State University Bulldogs, the reigning Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Champions, continued their dominant run as they took on the Queens University Royals in a non-conference matchup at the Howard Levine Tennis Center on Friday, February 27th.

The Bulldogs, led by their experienced roster and MEAC Coach of the Year Hardeep Judge, were eager to showcase their skills and prove their worth as the conference champions. The Royals, a competitive Division II program, posed a formidable challenge, but the Bulldogs were up for the task.

Key Takeaway: The SCSU Bulldogs, as the reigning MEAC Champions, showcased their dominance by defeating a strong non-conference opponent in Queens University, further solidifying their position as a force to be reckoned with in collegiate tennis.

The match got underway, and the Bulldogs wasted no time asserting their authority.

In the singles competition, the Bulldogs' top players, Luca Mack, Tarik El Sabbagh, and Juan Ramirez, all secured convincing victories, setting the tone for the rest of the team.

In the doubles matches, the Bulldogs continued their impressive performance, with the duos of Mack/El Sabbagh and Ramirez/Mathieu Rajaonah clinching the point for the visiting team.

When the final scores were tallied, the South Carolina State Bulldogs emerged victorious with a resounding 6-1 win over the Queens University Royals. This impressive performance not only showcased the Bulldogs' talent but also their ability to maintain their high level of play against a formidable non-conference opponent.

"I'm proud of the way our team stepped up and delivered a dominant performance against a strong Queens team," said SCSU Head Coach Hardeep Judge. "This win is a testament to the hard work and dedication our players have put in, and it will only serve to motivate us as we continue our quest to defend our MEAC title."
