Girls....

Posted By: Joy Guidry on April 21, 2005 I visited my school (NC A&T) a few weeks ago and I had heard that many of the females there don't like California girls... I wasn't worried because I felt that that wasn't true and I wouldn't have any problems. Well, I went and noticed that all of the guys spoke and said Hello or whatever, but EVERY girl except for our tour guide either looked away or mugged me... I smiled at everyone and tried to look nice, but I guess it didn't work. They didn't even know where I was from! No I'm not saying that ALL the girls are like that, but the ones I met were.. iight...aloha..i know i may be kinda late posting on this but i wanted to give my opinion.. Im a california girl that moved to the south and they treated me the same way. California is all over you..and its not a bad thing, its just that they can simply look at you and tell that you werent from there..ya know? So dont too much worry about it, cause i was worried about it when i first moved out here, but when they actually stop being silly and get to know you, they wont have any problems..honestly, there will be some people that will dislike you because you are from somewhere else..but dont worry about them..there missing out for no reason ya know? so keep ya head up girl!
