Satan's Attacks

Posted By: Obama Supporter on August 16, 2006

Saints...I have had an extremely rough week--satan has come at me at all sides and I stood but finally snapped on Tuesday and cried all night long. My husband and I joined together and prayed about everything and I felt a little better-yesterday was the roughest day, people who I thought were my friends just stopped speaking to me for no reason (I know of satan) and while at Praise and Worship practice some of the praise team members had a real funky attitude which was affecting me. He even went as far as to try and kill me...while I was driving to Praise and Worship rehearsal the other night I fell asleep twice while driving and God showed me where Satan was trying to kill me and that really affected me.

My husband told me last night that in his private prayer time that God told him that He was letting me go through all of this to get me alone so he could reveal some things to me. While doing my 5 mile run this morning he revealed to me that people in our ministry are hurting because they feel they had no one to go to that would not judge them and he wanted me to write a play about it for it to be presented in front of the ministry. (I am the head of our drama ministry) I was really hurt and asked God why did you take me through all of this hurt, turn people away from me and make me feel so low to show me that and he told me because if he didn't take everyone away the affect of the play would not be the same...because I went through it I can be more sensitive to the topic and soley listen to only him to complete it.

I wrote most of the play, I had to go to work so I did not get to complete it but I should be able to on my lunch..The title of the play is "We Overcome by Faith" I told my husband about it and it all came together for him too because he knows that I don't get into disputes or drama with anyone. I have such a busy schedule that God could never get me truly alone to give me this play and the word he needed me to hear from him...I am not going to lie it hurt....I love people and for anyone to just stop speaking to me for no reason that does hurt and affect me. So many other things were unraveling and falling apart for no real apparent reason...

I understand why God felt he had to let me go through all of that but it hurt and still is hurting because people who called themselves my friends just stopped speaking to me and while on my run talking to God they were also running and did not even acknowledge me and immediately it took my mind off of God speaking to me and he told me--"It's a trick of Satan to get you off course look at me...stop looking to the left at your circumstances or the natural...keep your eyes on me. I will handle everything else."

I need prayer because I am still going through and I am a very sensitive person, I don't like people mad at me, offended, or not speaking to me. I am praying for more wisdom, insight, and for this storm to pass--because it hurts. I know Jesus was persecuted...so I should expect the tricks of the enemy to come. Pray that God will continue to reveal to me what he needs to and that he will then calm all of the storms around me...I thank you for reading this and your prayers.

Thank you so much...I have standing stronger on his word this week. Satan can be so funny sometimes coming at you with different things. Even though I was not wrong I spoke or e-mailed the people who were not talking to be and asked for forgiveness of any offense ( and my pride did not want to do it) but the Holy Spirit showed me where Satan likes to use offense to break up the body of Christ and we as Christians get offended way to easily, even when another hasn't done anything we become offended by someone through jealousy! Satan has so many tactics and youa re right we have to keep declaring the word over our life and circumstance. "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles;they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31 Hallelujah--I thank the Lord that when this storm passes that the Lord will be pleased with me even more.
