I'm curious..What's the best thing about going to Howard?

I know there are several reasons why myself and many of my friends want to go, but I haven't gotten the opportunity to ask anyone else outside my circle or even someone that goes to Howard now about why they love Howard. I am determined to go next year but it would be very helpful for me and I would love to hear other's opinions about what theythink is the best thing about going to Howard!

Howard is one of the best decisions I've ever made. It is such a wonderful school filled w/ a diverse group of intelligent students as well as professors. I abosolutely LOVE it here. You meet new people everyday, there's always something/somewhere to go, parties are amazing (if you like that kind of stuff), and there's just so many cool and down to earth people. I mean when you walk on campus you just feel like this is the place for you.....you feel like you're at home. If you have anymore questions....just ask me. Hopefully this helped a little bit.

I am a double HU Alum. I received my BA in Administration of Justice in undergrad and just finished my MSW. Howard is what you make it. if you understand the pride and legacy of the institution and are well versed in history and what being black in America has meant for generations, you will find that Howard is the pinnacle of Black institutions. Social life at any school can be fun and exciting but Being a Bison gives you a family network not just friends. Good luck in all you do.
