Is to no longer wipe away the tears that run down my face, Because the new ones u bring, will wash the old ones away. Everytime I open up Someone has let me down Not only dissappointment but hurt and sorrow is what u leave. Full of regets is all that I am now Wishing and hoping not to make the same mistakes they say... to hurt is to grow When will I stop growing? To hurt is to grow when you have learned the lesson At that point you will no longer be second-guessing Did I leave at the appropriate time Or did I continually let "them" cross the line Yes, we can forgive, but lest we never forget The lessons learned thru our hardships Like a child who touches the hot stove, we must learn Otherwise, we will constantly be burned That was some deep poetry you wrote sis. I am a witness hurt does help you grow. It's not the best feeling but what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. Whenever I feel like I can't make it I have to constantly remind myself that through christ I can do all things.Keep y our head up girl cause I feel the same way right now.
