|
Posted By: Angela Johnson Meadows on October 05, 2006 The American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA) wants to jumpstart the advertising careers of the country’s most talented multicultural students with its Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP), which offers 10-week paid summer internships at real-world advertising agencies. MAIP interns gain practical work experience, establish key industry contacts, and, perhaps most importantly, are better prepared to land a full-time job in advertising when they graduate. Internships are available in the following advertising disciplines: • Account Management • Art Direction • Copy Writing • Broadcast/Print Production • Media Planning/Buying • New Business • Public Relations • Digital/Interactive Technologies • Strategic/Account Planning Want to be part of the MAIP 2007 Class? MAIP 2007 runs from June 1 to August 12. If you’re a college junior or senior or a student in graduate or portfolio school, please visit www.aaaa-maip.org to obtain more information about the program and to download an application. If you need additional information, please call 800-676-9333. The application submission deadline is 5:00 pm, Friday, December 8, 2006.
