What is the good life?

What is the good life?

What is the good life?
The good life is being able to live in this world to love one another as Jesus loves us. In order for us to live the good life, we must practice all of Jesus’ teachings in our daily life. We must be loving, respectful, helpful, caring, and completely without evil.
We need to have good morals and values in order to live the good life. Our values and morals are what inspires and motivates us to do meaningful things. Being a good person is important for our own well being as well as for the good of others. For us to become moral, requires us to feel guilt when we do wrong, and that is something that we obtain when we strive to become more like Jesus.
If we are to become closer to God and live the good life, we must remember his teachings. We have to love one another, we have to forgive others, and we have to let go of revenge. When we don’t live the life that Jesus intended for us to, we ruin our relationship with God and with ourselves.
As we mature, our needs change and so does the meaning of good life.

Because of new relationships, jobs, and children our values change, and hopefully for the better. At the end of life, close relationships and how we deal with others are the things that count. In order for us to live the good life, we must remember one thing that Jesus always preached: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,” and “Love your neighbors as yourself.” God created you. Not only that, he loves you so much that he wants you to know him now and spend eternity with him. John 3:16 , "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." Jesus came so that each of us could know and understand God in a personal way. Jesus alone can bring meaning and purpose to the good life. Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can. To have a good life we must be closer to God, the time is now the place is here starting today.
