Posted By: Desiree Dixon on October 13, 2006 Right now I'm so mad,sad,confuesed, and just all around disappointed. There was this guy that I had been talking to for like a month and some change and I could of sworn we were gonna go out. I thought he was goin to ask me out on my birthday but he didn't. SO I just went out thinking that we were gonna finally go out. Until he started acting shady. I really like him so I thought that maybe he was jus mad and didn't reall wanna talk about it. Until he said that "he didn't like me as a girl he would want to be his girlfriend but jus as a friend. But he would want me to be his girl but just not now. He jus wants to be friends." Now be the strong person that I am I didn't let him see my emotions that I was feeling. But by the time I got home I was jus so hurt. I didn't cry or anything I was just mad and disappointed because the way things were going. I could of sworn we were gonna go out. But I guess things changed right in front of my eyes and I jus didn't realize it. Sometimes I think that I should wait around for him but then again that's jus a line that boys say jus so u can get away from them. But he jus called me a few days ago and was talking to me like nothing happen. So now I'm kind of thinkin that maybe there is a chance for us. But I'm not sure wat do u think? I would tell you to spend time with other friends to get your mind off of him. If he comes around and the timing is right for you than do the damn thing, but if not it's his lost and you should keep it moving.

First, don't be mad at him for telling you the truth. You would rather him tell you how he feels then to find out later that he had more than just you. Respect him for just that little. Maybe he sees you for just what you are...treasure, and is not willing to ruin it by dating, when he knows he's not ready. And if he already called you since he told you this, then to me it seems like true friendship. Take it for what its worth. And don't forget to just have FUN.
