Being Thankful

Being Thankful
Posted By: Chenique L. Jeffress on January 05, 2007

With a New Year we have made resolutions that most us won't keep for a number of reasons. When you think about your everyday life we sometimes think about all the things that are wrong in our lives. Well at this moment I am going to think about and be Thankful for what is right and what I have. I am thankful to be alive, and healthy. I am thankful for my healthy, active son Jadyn, my family, and the necessities we need to survive from day to day.
We always look at life and what more, but are we ever satisfied and thankful for what we have at that time.

Are we not thankful for that love, the job, the car, or that house or the apartment. I am not saying to be in abusive relationships or not to want anything better out of life, but just to appreciate the things that you have at that point in your life. If you are in a relationship, to try and work on communication and not create problems. Be happy that you have a job, that the car is still working, a house. There are people out there that do not have these things.
We all have problems and we will have more trials and tribulations, but I think we concentrate too much on the negative and not the positive. We should just Be Thankful because it could always be worse than what it is.
