Posted By: Claudia Jean-Baptiste on March 26, 2007 I really dont know what to say about life and its ups an downs because whether i like it or not, things are bound to happen. So what to do now. I'm a senior in high school who is tryin to find my purpose in life but i have so many obstacles go through and choices to make. Last night i got high yall. And i mean really high. It was the first blunt i ever hit and probably the not last. I'm talkin bout i went straight into happy go lucky mode. A few inhalations of that grass and i was thru! I didnt think about none of the problems that i was dealing with, i was just high in the sky. But guess what tho. The next morning i woke up to the same problems that i was trying to run away from. I never thought i would ever smoke weed in my life but that night i guess i was just curious on what it would do. How it would feel. People told me that it was a good feeling but it just doesnt last. Thats why they want more to get that feeling all the time. Then again we all know that good things always come to an end. So what do i do now. Bob marley smoked weed and probably Bill Clinton does it too. I dont know if i would ever do it again because i just could not control myself and the things that i was doing. I wasn't even coming on here trying to get in my "Look Kid" mode. But listen, different people handle stuff in different ways, you saw how you handled it last night, right? Soo... Don't concern yourself with Bill or Bob, we're talking about Claudia. Whether you do it again should NOT be an "if" You like band, right? You were voted rookie of the year, right? You want to own your own business, right? I'm not sure what your ups and downs are at your age, and I will not discount what you have been faced with. However, I care about you enough to stop my day, and I do own a business, and tell you that you can have what you want, but you gotta redirect. QUICK! I think I can say that, cause I've been there. I think it caused me to get where I wanted to be a lot later in life, for my stubborn nature. It's only by the grace of God, and a little ingenuity on my part that I made it as far as I have. I would like to see you make it farther. But you gotta put the foolishness aside and start early. Feed what you are passionate about in you. Band maybe? Business? When you feed those things, not only do you work straight through the problems as time goes on, the best part is
